Private Pilates Lessons

Locations: Berkeley, Oakland

One-on-one Pilates session that provides an individualized movement program with a focus on the client’s specific needs, goals both long-term and short, and is responsive to what the client needs to address in the moment. We utilize all of the Pilates equipment: reformer, chair, trapeze table, barrel, and various props for mat work.

Duet Pilates Lessons

Locations: Berkeley, Oakland

Two-person Pilates session that has elements of a group class as well as an individualized movement program catering to each client’s specific needs. Direct personal attention is given to both clients and is a great way to lower the cost of a Pilates session and exercise with a friend for extra accountability and motivation! We utilize all of the Pilates equipment: reformer, chair, trapeze table, barrel, and various props for mat work.

Equipment Group Classes (In-Person)

Locations: Berkeley, Oakland

Up to four-person Pilates combination reformer/mat/springboard classes at my Oakland studio only. These classes are a fun way to build community and share accountability for your exercise program with friends old and new! We utilize all of the Pilates equipment: reformer, chair, trapeze table, barrel, and various props for mat work. The focus of these classes is a holistic full-body movement session including building strength, flexibility, and mobility as well as restoration and release.

Group Mat Classes (Zoom)

Locations: Berkeley, Oakland

Open Pilates mat classes to do from anywhere in the world that you have access to wifi! The focus of these classes is a holistic full body movement session including building strength, flexibility, and mobility as well as restoration and release using just our bodies and occasionally incorporating props including foam rollers, balls, therabands, and yoga blocks.

Creative movement kids dance class in Point Richmond

Creative Movement Dance Class for Kids

Sarah’s creative movement dance class is for young movers ages 5-8 with or without dance experience! It is designed as a 10-week session with curriculum pulled from Anne Green Gilbert’s book, Creative Dance for All Ages, Gilbert’s BrainDance exercises, and a lifetime of dancing and teaching experience of instructor, Sarah. The class uses a conceptual approach to teach creative dance by exploring the dance elements of space, time, force and body. Most importantly, we move, sweat, and have fun! The final day of class includes a short demonstration/performance for family and friends.
